Apps I’d hand to my own family.
I’m Kyle, the person behind Quote Unquote Studios. I wanted simple creative apps that give families space to play, without ads, trackers or pushy purchases.
So I’m making them. These are small, thoughtful places to color, draw and try things.
I use AI tools to help with development and creative work. The choices, care and responsibility stay with me.

Just Color by Number (“the app”) is a coloring game made for relaxed, offline play, and is designed to be safe and private for everyone, including children.
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking.
Data stored on your device
Your progress, settings, finished pictures, saved replays, and any photos you choose to import are stored on your device in the app’s private storage, where they are not accessible to us or anyone else. Unless you turn on iCloud sync (below), this information never leaves your device. Removing the app deletes it from the device.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you turn on Sync with iCloud in Options, your progress, finished pictures, favourites, challenges and the puzzles you imported (including the artwork made from your photos) are kept in the app’s private space in your own iCloud account, so they appear on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. That storage belongs to your iCloud account and is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy; we have no access to it. Sync is off until you turn it on, and turning it off stops it.
Photos
If you import a photo to turn it into a color-by-number picture, that photo is processed entirely on your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. With iCloud sync on, the puzzle made from it is stored in your own iCloud, as described above.
Sharing
Sharing uses your device’s standard share sheet. Parents can use Apple’s Screen Time settings to restrict supported apps, features and communications. Available restrictions depend on the sharing method and the device’s settings.
Children’s privacy
The app is suitable for all ages. It complies with applicable children’s privacy laws, including COPPA. Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children. There are no third-party advertisements, no third-party analytics, and no data sharing of any kind. iCloud sync, if turned on, stores data only in the device owner’s own iCloud account. The few actions that leave the app — such as sharing a finished picture — use the device’s own share screen and transmit nothing themselves.

Just Animate is a frame-by-frame pixel animation app made by Quote Unquote Studios.
Data collection
The app has no accounts, advertising, analytics or third-party tracking. Solo drawings and imported media stay on your device unless you choose to share them or enable iCloud sync. Optional online relays upload the animation and the player names you enter to our relay service.
On your device
Flipbooks, thumbnails, settings, favorites and recovery copies in Recently Deleted are stored in the app’s storage on your device. Deleted flips remain recoverable on the device where you deleted them, with no automatic expiry. Removing the app removes its local data. Copies you exported or stored in iCloud are separate.
Optional iCloud Drive sync
When you turn on SYNC in Options, your flipbook files are stored in your own iCloud Drive so you can use them on your other devices with the same Apple Account. Apple handles this storage under its privacy policy; we have no access to it. Sync starts off. Turning it off keeps local copies and leaves existing iCloud copies in your account. Favorites and Recently Deleted do not sync between devices.
Photos, video and imported files
You choose photos and videos through the system picker. Imported media is processed on your device. Photo references and extracted video frames stay in local app storage and are excluded from flipbook exports and app iCloud sync. Drawings you trace or convert into ink become part of the flipbook and follow its sharing and sync settings. Imported GIF and flipbook artwork does too.
Optional online relays
Link relays store animation frames, player display names, game rules, and random device credentials on our Netlify-hosted service so two devices can take turns. You can use nicknames. We do not ask for a phone number or create a user account. Share an invitation privately: the first other device to redeem it becomes your partner. Removing the app or its data can lose your access to the relay. Links expire after 30 days without a submitted turn; a daily cleanup removes the animation, names and credentials, leaving a random identifier marked expired. Netlify processes network requests, including IP addresses, to host and protect the service. Local copies and copies shared with your partner remain on those devices.
Sharing and support
Sharing uses your device’s standard share sheet. Parents can use Apple’s Screen Time settings to restrict supported apps, features and communications. Available restrictions depend on the sharing method and the device’s settings. You choose the destination, whose own privacy practices then apply. If you email support, we receive your email address, message and anything you choose to attach so we can respond. You may ask us to delete that correspondence.
Children’s privacy
The app has no advertising, tracking or analytics, including for children. Online relays accept player display names; use nicknames rather than personal details. Sharing and external links use the device’s standard apps.
